The details for the Department of Sustainability & Solid Waste Management’s 2023 special collection events can be found here. A few things to note this year:

1. There are programs for free and convenient collection of paint, stains, and primers and electronic waste through drop off locations located throughout the county and open year round. They are still accepting these materials at their dedicated collection events, but there is no need to wait. Click the links above for more information and a list of drop off locations.
2. In addition to all of the usual events, they are adding two mattress recycling events to the calendar this year.
3. They will be accepting VHS tapes, DVDs, and CDs for recycling at our electronic waste collection events this year.
